LDV T60 MEGA TUB Dual Cab 4WD Ute

T60 Luxe Mega Tub_BlackLDV has introduced a mega tub version of its T60 Dual Cab Ute. Size matters – and never is that phrase more apt than with a dual cab ute. Size can cost you money if all your tools don’t fit in the tub; length is critical if you can’t stand your trailbike upright for a weekend bush bash; and size really matters if your surfboards don’t fit in the back.

Now LDV Automotive can help solve these issues with the arrival of the T60 Luxe Mega Tub, offering the longest wheelbase and longest OEM tub in its class (aside from the RAM 1500), longer than both the Ssangyong Musso LWB and upcoming VW Amarok XL.

Priced from $34,990 driveaway for ABN holders – just $1,500 more than the regular T60 – the T60 Luxe Mega Tub is best-in-class when it comes to value-for-money for hard-working Australians. “Size matters and by bringing the T60 Luxe Mega Tub to market we’re broadening our offering in the most competitive segment in Australia,” says Dinesh Chinnappa, LDV Automotive General Manager. “It’s clear owners want a vehicle that blurs the lines between weekend lifestyle and week-day workhorse.

The T60 Luxe Mega Tub is the perfect ute to do just that – and a premium of just $1,500 over a regular T60 means it’s significantly better value than any other LWB ute in the segment.”

With an extra 315mm in the wheelbase and 275mm in the tray, the T60 Luxe Mega Tub has a total tray length of 1800mm, meaning bikes can stand upright and a typical 6ft tradie ladder fits neatly in the back.

It comes standard with an inner tray liner, while hard lids and roller tops will also be available. Importantly, the T60 Luxe Mega Tub is built on the same OEM production line as the regular T60, with the company making significant investments to ensure the research and development, and production line capability were in place to build both variants concurrently.

This attention to detail also ensures the ride and handling mirror the existing T60 and Trailrider, with the Mega Tub receiving the now standard suspension tune for the Australian market.

The T60 was awarded a 5-Star ANCAP safety rating in 2017 and the Luxe variant boasts a plethora of standard equipment including Blind Spot Monitoring, 6 airbags, Rear On Demand Differential Lock, Keyless Entry and Start, leather trim seats, a 5 year / 130,000km warranty and much more.

The LDV T60 Luxe Mega Tub is available from December 2019. LDV T60 Dual Cab Driveaway ABN Pricing Manual Automatic Pro $28,990 $30,990 Luxe $33,490 $35,490 Luxe Mega Tub $34,990 $36,990 Trailrider $36,990 $38,990
