Nissan has released a special edition Navara based on the SL variant. This follows on from the recent upgrades earlier in 2018 to the Navara range and the success of the 2017 Navara ST-X N-SPORT variant

The 2017 Navara ST-X 4X4 N-Sport sold out of the limited run 500 units not long after its release, but feedback from the market indicated that buyers wanted the opportunity to purchase accessorised lower or mid-spec models.

Fast forward to October 2018 and Nissan now has available the Navara Dual Cab 4X4 Silverline. This is a limited edition of only 900 units on sale from October 1

The Navara Dual Cab 4X4 Silverline, which is based on the SL variant, includes:

  • 16-inch alloy wheels – replacing standard steel wheels
  • a polished alloy sports bar
  • mobile phone holder
  • ‘Silverline’ tailgate badging

“The market has spoken and it wants more accessory options on their favourite Nissan,” said Nissan Australia managing director, Stephen Lester.

“The Navara ST-X N-Sport model was popular, and the recent X-TRAIL, Pathfinder and 370Z Black Editions have helped build our Brand presence and increase vehicle enquiry.

“Nissan is open to the introduction of more special editions and will always strive to give buyers what they want.”

The Nissan Navara Dual Cab 4X4 SL Silverline is available in four contemporary colours, including Polar White, Brilliant Silver, Cosmic Black, and Burning Red.

The new Navara special edition features the standard 2.3 litre intercooled twin-turbo diesel engine that boasts 140kW of power and 450Nm of torque.

The Navara SL Silverline Edition is also as standard fitted with a Rear View Camera built within the audio display plus an automatic dimming rear-view mirror, electronic rear differential lock, privacy glass, LED headlights and daytime running lamps, Bluetooth and cruise control as standard.

The SL Silverline has a five-inch colour touchscreen with satellite navigation and a leather accented steering wheel.

With a 3,500kg braked towing capacity^, the Navara Silverline also comes with seven standard airbags including a driver knee airbag, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Brake Limited Slip Differential (BLSD), Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) and Brake Assist (BA).
