Volkswagen Amarok PanAmericana and Aventura supply enhanced. For the first time since the second-generation Volkswagen Amarok launched in Australia, strong supply is now available on the in-demand offroad- focused Amarok PanAmericana and the flagship Amarok Aventura variants.
January 2025 Update on supply
The Amarok PanAmericana is available from $86,557 drive-away (with a Sydney 2000 postcode). Through Volkswagen Choice finance and with a 10% deposit, the offroad-focused PanAmericana is available on a 3.99% per annum comparison rate from $272 per week~ until the end of March.
The Amarok Aventura, with a choice of 2.3-litre turbo petrol TSI452 or 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 TDI600 powertrains, is available from $90,677 drive-away (with a Sydney 2000 postcode). On the TSI452, an additional $3,000 factory discount is further available until March 31.
Through Volkswagen Choice finance, with a 10% deposit the luxurious Aventura is also available on a 3.99% per annum comparison rate from $284 per week~ until the end of March.
Strong supply of the most popular Amarok, the mid-spec Style, continues – with free-on road costs until March 31. The all-rounder Amarok Style TDI500 is available from $66,990 (MY23) to $69,740 (MY24) drive-away* and the Style TDI600 from $70,990 (MY23) to $73,740 (MY24) drive-away*. All are national drive away offers.
This makes the Volkswagen Amarok both the premium leader, and the value leader, among V6 dual-cab utes – with drive-away pricing below a Ford Ranger Sport V6 (with a Sydney 2000 postcode, as advertised 03/02/2025).

The Amarok Style also exclusively includes Matrix LED headlights, adaptive high-beam with cornering lights, puddle lights, 12” (vs 10” digital driver display, Area View 360-degree camera, 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat (unique with power driver tilt adjustment) and full-length App-Connect screen integration compared with a Ranger Sport V6.
The hard working Amarok Core TDI405 ($59,777 drive away MY23 and $62,352 drive away MY24) and Amarok Life TDI500 ($63,897 drive away MY23 and $66,472 drive away MY24) are available with a further Large Fleet Discount offer as a reduction of the drive away prices, available for ABN holders. Update December 2022 on when VW Amarok will arrive
Volkswagen Amarok – The all-new, next-generation Volkswagen Amarok will arrive in Australia in April 2023 in the most sought-after specifications – Style, PanAmericana and Aventura – with turbo petrol and diesel power, including the ute’s iconic V6.
Following shortly after, approximately mid-year, the Amarok Core and Life specifications will arrive, rounding out a second-generation Volkswagen ute line-up that provides a stylish and premium edge with high product value.
Engine and drivetrain
The Amarok Style, available with a choice of 154kW/500Nm 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel or 184kW/600Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6, will be the top selling Volkswagen ute positioned just above the previous Amarok Highline.
To answer the high demands of Volkswagen Amarok customers, the Style will lead the segment with:
- IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlamps,
- 12″ infotainment display with navigation,
- 12″ Digital Cockpit pro and
- 10-way driver/8-way passenger power adjustable front seats
- with heating as standard.
Model choices weird names
PanAmericana and Aventura will provide a new level of off-road and on-road sophistication, respectively. The former unique with all-terrain 18-inch tyres and darkened sports exterior accents. Combining with a leather-covered dashboard and Harman/Kardon premium audio. The latter with largest-ever 21-inch wheels, ‘Savona’ leather trim. And electronic roll cover and chrome accent exterior.
The PanAmericana is diesel V6 exclusive. The Aventura builds on Volkswagen TSI heritage with a 222kW/452Nm 2.3-litre turbo petrol engine, or diesel V6. This will triple flagship offerings beyond the current Aventura with its diesel V6 only, in response to customer demand.
In 2020, 58% of Amarok customers selected a high-grade variant and 42% a lower-grade variant. By 2022, 78% favoured a high grade Volkswagen ute and 22% a lower grade.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director Ryan Davies said the second-generation Amarok line-up. Has been honed to complement existing Volkswagen ute strengths with new answers to customer demand.
